1. We believe in one only true and living God: The Father, The Son and Holy Ghost. | Deuteronomy 6:10, Isaiah 44:6 |
2. We believe that the scripture of the Old and New Testaments are the words of God and the only rule of faith and practice. | Acts 1:16, Acts 28:25 |
3. We believe in the doctrine of election and that God chose His people in Christ before the foundation of the world. | Deuteronomy 7.6, Isaiah 42.1 |
4. We believe in the doctrine of original sin and man’s impotency to recover himself from the fallen state in which he is in by nature by his own free will ability. | Genesis 2.16-17, Genesis 3.22-24 |
5. We believe that sinners are justified in the sight of God only by the imputed righteousness of Christ through faith. The Just shall live by faith. | Romans 1:17, Romans 3.24-26 |
6. We believe that God’s elect shall be regenerated, called, converted, and sanctified by the Holy Spirit. | John 6.37-39,45, Romans 8.28-30 |
7. We believe that saints shall persevere by faith in grace and never shall fall finally away. | Psalm 37.24, Mark 13.13 |
8. We believe in the resurrection of the dead and general judgment and that the joys of the righteous and the punishment of the wicked be eternal. | Daniel 12.2, Matthew 25.31-46 |
9. We believe that baptism and the Lord’s supper are ordinances of Jesus Christ and true believers are the subjects, and that the true mode of baptism is immersion. | Matthew 13.16, Matthew 28.19 |
10. We believe Elders should administer the ordinances. | Matthew 28.19 |
11. We believe that only members in good standing have a right to commune at the Lord’s table. We believe the communion table is to be guarded through church discipline, therefore only local church members should participate. | Matthew 7.6, 1 Corinthians 10.16 |
12. We believe that it is the command of Jesus Christ, who has all power in heaven and earth, to go teach, baptize and instruct anyone who has ears to hear. | Mathew 28.18-20 |
